Infographics, tutorials and guides are my favourite things to work on. The process of distilling the important information of scientific publications or gathering the essential components of using a software – or identifying an animal’s scat in the wild – can be very rewarding, knowing that the message has become more accessible.
As a PhD student I knew I would write an entire book that very little people would attempt to start – and less would get to Chapter 3. I wanted to have something my family and friends could see and get a quick idea of the rationale, main finds, and implications of my work.

Sketches and research on some of the university greenhouse plants to create small fact sheets.
Green Goblin Studio is a miniature painting business. This commission included the web design, the illustration of the Green Goblin himself, painting away, the company logo, and shop stickers.
Pytho wood turning
Pýthō is a wood turning workshop in the village of Panagitsa, N. Greece. Snakes in ancient Greece were sacred and connected to the oracle of Dephi, with many depictions of women offering food to pythons. Ermis, the owner of Pytho, and I researched pythons and ancient greek mythology to make a logo that represents his brand and connection to the wood he works with.
